How can file ITR to Daily wages income people? My one of the friend ask to me " if any one got daily wages (Rs. 700 per day ) , how do group this income and how do file ITR without form 16?"
Kindly request to clarify this doubt?

How can file it return to daily wages people

If he is employed and working as a employee, then he may file ITR-1 as his income is above taxable limit at Rs. 2,55,500/- p.a
If hasn't the emploee employer relationship what will do. Ex: he is building construction masthiri work.
If he is an independent contractor who gets hired for his services for a particular job, then he may file ITR-4.
as per the law he is an asessee. as per his wage record we can calculate his income tax liability by calculating sum received.
Can take total wages recd as income under other sources
Daily wage earners income as on daily work as and when required by some one or some contractor . I think for him it is Income form Labour charges which can be filed in Return ITR IV. There is no emeplyee -employer relationship in between contractor and him. Now a days contractors have to deduct tax also if payment exceeds TDS limits.
