Can anyone tell me how CA day - 1st July got evolved ? When I passed my CA 11 years back, at that time, we didnt had anything called CA day...since past 3 -4 years, this CA day is being heard of....so uf anyone can give me info for this CA day, that would surley add to my knowledge !!!

CA Act,1949 came into force on this day.
thanks Sai...but really amazing that this day is being celebrated very recently ....I am actually curious to know, that if on 1st July this Act was enacted, then why for past many decades, there was nothing being done on this day !!!!!

This Day is celebrated every year.
"I think, Management has now realize that recreation is very much important for CA's profession and needs to create brand image in the International Market". It is our bad luck that we are not realising the same in earlier.
