question:
Assess I.t. return filed compulsory or not.

If your gross total income exceeds 2.5 lakhs, then filing ITR is mandatory

So far as gross total income remains below 2.5 lakhs, it's not required to file Return.

You are not required to file ITR as Total income is below basic exemption limit I.e Rs.2,50,000/-
