can i claim home loan exemption of principal and interest if i take a home loan from cooperative financial society

Interest deduction under section 24 is available

Principle repaymenet upto a maximum of 150000/- is available as deduction under 80C --

provided home loan is taken for construction of a house ----- from Co-operative Financial society.......

.....any company in which the public are substantially interested or any co-operative society, where such company or co-operative society is engaged in the business of financing the construction of houses .....
