pleas e help me out with the new surcharges that have been implemented for TDS deduction. earlier surcharge was chargeable with tds for all the companies. now it has been changed . pls give me the new surcharge rules.

if u pay to the company more than 1 crore than only sucharges will be chargeable for tds else no need to deduted. but on safer side u must deduct the surchage oe else you can take a declaration from the deductee to give his estimated income dedclaration for the year
Tax Deducted at Source :
Surcharge will be applicable in determining tax to be deducted at source only from payment to Foreign Companies.Though Domestic Companies are liable to surcharge,the same is not to be considered in computing tax to be deducted at source from payment to them.
The two Cess will be considered in computing tax to be deducted at source only in respect of payment to
a) Foreign Companies
b) Non-Resident
c) Salary Payment
In all other cases ,Cess will not be considered (though applicable on computing tax on Total Income ) in determining tax to be deducted at Source
