Its a good news for CAs that packages are increasing !!

Earlier highest package of Rs. 38 Lacs p.a. was also from Olam International and now 1.5 Lacs USD i.e. Rs. 67.50 Lacs. Only thing is that its in Nigeria where kidnapping cases are high.

But in the domestic market package is still not so good.

Though OLAM International is Singapore based company but it places Indian CA's in Africa ( Nigeria and Congo ) !!!!

How will be ur life ???

5 yrs later if u wanna change the job, then u will be having exposure of Poor African Market !!!

We should get not excited only by hearing partial information that the salary offered is very high but if posting is in Nigeria or other African nations which is not safe place than what is a point .?.  Also one has to check the fine print of salary . what is break up of salary is any component of salary deferred .? or some clause attached to it since the amount offered is high there could be some riders attached to it Besides  one should  also take quality of life into account....

I  request all the freshers to take all these factors  into account while deciding to take up a job . Only monetary remuneration should not be the deciding factor in accepting job....
