High court stay on vat

 When a daeler collects vat on his sales during a stay given by HC,no specific action can be taken because the matter is not decided.If the stayed levy is cancelled,then the dealer has to forfeit the collected tax to the department and the department has to return the same to the individual customers. If the levy is upheld by the HC then such collected tax to be paid to the govt forthwithby the dealer........mjk
