The few main reasonns of variations in marks are

● reduced level of motivation because of continuous attempts. One must note that even if you have attempted the paper before you will need to prepare very hard all over again. Knowledge gained in previous attempts will only support, but not sail you through.

● general level of poor result of may 13 exam. Final and inter both. But this is a temporary dip. It wont be a permanent trend.

● lack of conceptual clarity, especially in subjects like costing, fm. If you follow an approach where you solve problems without actually learning the 'why' and 'how' your marks will vary depending on if the question paper contained the problems similar to the ones you solved in the weeks leading to the exam.

Solution: try getting hold of a personal tutor who will give you attention personally and weed out the wekanesses.And also keep you on your toes and not let you get bored or lazy.

Try to motivate ur friend. Just make him feel comfortable.

"Failure doesnt mean you lost everything.You gained experience (which nobody would ve got).

Interruptions happen, often for no reason. it will hamper ur efforts.

Whatever it is that is holding u back, do ur best to unearth it.

Maybe, this time he might PASS!! cos people very often quit when Success was one step ahead.
