Help with 'c' form

i run a business in maharashtra where we manufacture machines, we sell our machines other state clients against C form and charge them at 2% taxes, the clients duty is supposed to give us C form within 3 -6 months i am facing a problem that some of the companies got shut down within 6 months and the partners have been absconding and now i am getting a notice from sales tax dept for C form or pay difference amount this is the first case one more client is like he has not taken the purchase bill into consideration/accounts

what can be done in these cases pls help

u had to call them and remind them for these things else u had to pay the difference tax to the sale tax department

Sir i did regularly they said they have applied and suddenly all phones switched off and the place was vacated So now what?

please check their tin no in the tinsys datebase.if you company having all the supporting documents like po , delivery challan Invoice copy of way bill with vehicle no) you make written letter for request of c form for the concern period with set of all xerox copies of invoice, purchase order,way bill no & truck no) make it through register post.if there is no response, from their side. Next way you can go legally.
