Help Regarding Leave during Industrial Training

Hi,

I had a question regarding leaves.

I have joined a company as an industrial trainee on 3rd Dec,2009 and the tenure is going to end on 27th September,2010.Prior to my industrial training,I have taken 65 days of leave during my 2 yrs of articleship.

Now,I have my exams in May 2010 and I would like to have my study leave.But the rulebook says it ought to be 1/6th of no. of days worked.So,would the no. of working days and the leaves be calculated from 3rd of Dec as I sought a transfer  from my articleship firm to industrial training with my existing company on 3rd Dec,2009?(N if that be the case,that turns out to be a meagre 12-13 days of leave  )

Or would it be 1/6th of working days considering 3 yrs of total articleship?                                                     

Basically,I would like to know the balance of my  PAID leaves that I can ask for my CA Final preparations!

PLZ HELP ASAP.....
