After using Return Prepration software of Incometaxe-filing site, I prepared Return form offline; generated a XML file and it showed message that file is saved as----
However,I am faced with peculiar situation as I am not able to upload as I could not locate the file by the name with which it has been saved automatically .Hence process of e-filing not completed.
Can somebody help please?
When you generated the XML file, then the path of that file is shown at your screen and normally said file save where your ITR (Excel Sheet ) is saved. if you don't lacate the same, generate the again not down the path of XML file which will show on your screen at the time of generate and save the XML file.
You can provide the path to the deskstop while validating the income tax return . This will solve ur problem.
