it would not affect on your first group result

U should be appeared for the Second group as u have nothing to lose now. If u appear in the papers, u will learn how the institute asks the questions, what kind of preparations are required, what mistakes should not be repeated etc. etc.

and if u manage to clear the second group then u will surely remeber my words..

1. Go for both groups with maximum confidence.

2. Start ur second group from tomorrow as planned fearlessly.  Dont think about getting 20-40 marks. Just go ahead..

3. Your fist priority should be first group.

4. Just be positive and enjoy your study.

Just write the both the groups  u have nothing to lose, u never know with CA institute u can end up getting an exemption also 

Don't afraid dear. Let me tell you my own story . My paper of Financial Management was went wrongly very very bad. and i was just not expecting that i will pass the 1st Group. and i also filled both groups. I was not ready to go to exam for second group thinking that let me pass in First group then will see second group in next time. but my friend motivated me that told you must go. then i went at exam place and gave the exams  and though i could nt pass in 2nd group(ist cleared) but that gave me immense confidence and feeting to face second time second group.
