Hello all.Well,i'm quite famous for worries as u all know.Well, the thing is,I wanna crack IPCC in the first attempt.Do any of you think 12 days are enough to crack it if I work for 20 hrs a day?If so,pls tell me how.I know that this is a very stupid question and pls....be supportive.I never failed .Infact, never scored less than 92% anytime and this is my first attempt after CPT.There are many students who are my dad's friends' children writing it and I don't want my dad to face insults if all of them pass except me coz all their dads are CAs just like my dad.I can still do it in 12 days rite?I mean two groups! And I'm never gonna give up though.But.....expert opinions might give encouragement.So.....wat do u think experts?Experts include anyone coz everyone is experienced in some way or the other.

12 days not possible

ya i know its not possible, even i have mentioned its not easy to crack in 12 days, its just a suggestion and not a guaranteed solution

First thing after working for 20 hours a day,Are you sure you will be in a position to write exams????? And Passing Ipcc in 12 days can be done. But depends on your state of preparation. If you are going for 1st revision All I can say is All The Best

It is a very difficult task but nothing is impossible in this world you know. so think positive always

Okay thanks for asking (because you made me realize that I too need to give my wholeself now towards my final exams). (And even though it's only 12 days left, but still it's like you'll be starting from scratch now)

First thing, it'll be better if you sleep for 6 hours a day or atleast 5 hours. And make optimum utilization of the remaining time available. Use the reamaining available 12 days to your advantage.

Next, make a strategy as to on which topics you need to focus most as it's not possible to cover the entire syllabus now. For example, in the case of Taxation paper, you should better focus more on VAT & ST as the syllabus is very very minimal here but whereas the weightage is 50%, and you should just have a rough reading over the Income Tax part. In other words, I mean to say, you've to skip few topics.

(Just remember that getting 40+ in any paper is not difficult; And you can cover the deficit in any subject (i.e., if you get below 50 in any paper) with the help of the subjects on which you've a better command, by scoring 50+)

And finally Good luck!yes

You can do it!!!

P.S.  I'm now signing off till my exams (I know I said this for many times). See you all after May 16th.

Di it you will crack. I cracked Final G2 in Nov 2012 by 16 - 17 days & self study. No classes no coaching or Tutions Only self Study of 15 Hrs a day & I clrd G2 of Final in Nov 2012

Firstly i would like to ask you where you were in last whole year thaat you are asking about passing xam in 12 days. But the second thing is YES you can do it, but if you will study 20 hours then it is impossible, i would advise to study 12 hours not more than it, and that also not continuous, study 2 hours then take 30 minutes break and so on. And 12 days are much enough for IPCC, motivate urself by "12 din me to duniya 12 baad ghum jati h", fir tumhe to 7 hi paper clear karne hai.. And Best of Luck :)

I like the spirit that you have asked the question with! I don't have any answers, but would definitely say.. WHY NOT!

Give it a shot.. When you clear you'll be History!

May God be with you :)

Firstly members, lets not get opinionated & comment on what she should have done. Its none of our business.Lets face it,completing studies on time, giving 2-3 revisions etc is a mammoth task & not everyone can do it.

Getting back to ur question meredith, yes you can.Go thru scanners to find out the trend of questions asked in previous exams. In law, ehics & communication is scoring. For costing go thru the formulas & solve 1 easy & 1 tough question;theory comes for around 30-35 mks, dont miss that.In tax IDT is vry scoring.

PS : like your 'won't give up' spirit !

simple 2 tips-

1.finish scanner atleast by seeing stuff n doing the things with calculator in ur hands...COS

U DONT HAVE TIME TO WORK OUT MISS MEREDITH!!!

2.DONT ENTER EXAM HALL WITHOUT DOING RTPs.....

if possible, get last 3 RTPs and FINISH them line by line(PREFERABLY UPSIDE DOWN TOO)......u can get it in institute website.....

GOOD LUCK MATE!!!!!

IF U R STARTING FROM SCRATCH,KINDLY ABANDON GROUP 2...

DONT GIV A DAMN TO UR PEERS....AND UR INTENT TO SAVE UR DAD's FACE IS UPHELD DUDEsmiley

GET GROUP 2 OUTTA UR AGENDA!!!!

ARTICLESHIP COUNTS FIRST!!!!   yes

Just stick to the basics of study to avoid failure and ensure success. For me some basics of study are as follows:

In CS and CA exams scanner plays an imp role so take reference and base your study on scanner as you have less time. Please take care of the following points:

1.     Timely completion of course material—Very first basic thing is to finish your course to have better idea of course structure. This will also help you to prepare a good revision schedule along with study plan.

2.     Timely revision-- Another basic study point is to give ample emphasis to a good revision plan. There is nothing is this world which can substitute a good revision plan. To succeed revision is must.

3.     Ample amount of practice of Numerical [account and cost] questions-- One major reason of student failure is bad performance in practical questions. So ample amount of practice of Numerical [account and cost] questions is must along with perfect conceptual clarity.

4.     Right amount of theory preparation in practical subjects—Most of the students don’t give due value to the theory in the practical subject. So right amount of theory preparation in practical subjects is equally important. The best way to solve this issue is to prepare notes of frequently asked theory questions from Scanner.

5.     Selection of right booksAnother basic point for good preparation is the selection of right reference books. So take help from your seniors in choosing right books.

6.     Good presentation of theory— Lack of good presentation especially in theory paper is one of the major drawbacks for most of the students. In theory subjects good presentation of theory is must along with mentioning case laws and sections etc. So I’d request you all to take note of the same.

Thanks

If nothing is impossible in world, no one can crack ipcc in one day study. I mean to say for getting every thing possible, it want some cost of efforts, time etc, you have wasted time and waked up at the bottom line. I thing don't worry, you will get good experience.
