Can VAT recoverable be setoff against CST payables?

No. VAT IS A STATE LEVY AND CST IS A CENTRAL LEVY THEREFORE NO SETOFF IS POSSIBLE.

I am also having the same opinion. But I am not able to find any notification for the same by any govt. authority and nither it is mentioned in VAT act. If you have any such notification olease provide me with that.
Please provide me decision regarding the order by the high court (allahabad) in the subject of jobwork (form F) in the case of A.C.P.L .
