Help me out for idt preparation

I am facing the same problem himani.. Even i need help.. Please help

Are you satisfied with your level of knowledge in theoretical aspect?

if yes then start to do numerical problems & if not then limit yourself with in service tax + ftp +excise or custom( only 1).

As banger sir book is too bulky to revise.

i am referring Rafi sir book and deided to leave custom segment fully.

solve pm theory ques. it will boost your confidence.

Finished once right except custom. Now while studying custom, keep some one hour or two hours for excise and service tax. In ST, pick one or two services per day and keep on revise this, recall recall & recall. Now service tax n excise read that in a manner like I will not touch this again. This mentality helps u to remember the concepts..then be in touch with that topic. If u feel, I forgot that point etc...immediately open that topic and recall that. It could be a matter of 5 or 10 mins. This small work helps us lot at the end. In excise & ST, finish the revisions by picking again. Case laws from case law book..pick 5 per day from today only. See u will finish this by April 5th. 12 to 16 marks guaranteed. Like this u have to go. I bet u, surely it works and mainly u wont get tense even day before the exam.

I would suggest, don't leave customs. It is easy and scoring. I have seen many students leaving customs, but it's not correct in my opinion. During exams, it can be revised very quickly and you will be able to attempt customs questions.

Which book is better for self study..?? N any other like pm/rtp etc.

Thanks everyone .. My ques is how to read so much.. I mean cenvat credit 76 pages .. Not paossible to read.. Likewise there are some lengthy chaps

Do service tax-pops,pots,negative list ,declare services,mega ex pm.., Nd valuation Nd RCM... leave others.. Nd in excise mainly valuation ,cenvat,classification. In ftp only pm .. in custom do basics ,type of duty ,warehousing Nd drawback.. follow.. Nd see what u score.. Nd regarding case laws only cenvat Nd st ..do..

Refrr Ca Raj Kumar notes for pratical q and charts for exam reference....

Whether refering p.manual wil be enough ?

I don't think that this is a time to switch the book. Bangar is a complete book, it may take time for the first reading but you will revise in a less time if while first reading you write the crux of the paragraph somewhere there. You can try doing this in one of any chapter.

Problem with idt is after dt you will b exhausted and can't revise a book like bangar in one day. I am following ca raj kumar book and for reference bangar and its working for me, you should try to concise all syllabus of idt and raj kumar sir books can be revised if you have done it properly
