Help in deciding regarding coaching for tax pcc/final

thx for ur advice..bt by thn the result is declared it will b late for coaching cls..lst attempt i waitted till d result..bt whn i lookd for coachg cls..i gt only 1 or 2 day revision cls..which wasnt of any help for me

Well..... First of all let me know when is ur Final Attempt due .......

The thing is that , the results shall be declared around july last week . ryt? so , then batches for this nov. final attempt wont be starting.......

And as u said u r not so sure abt ur result , so my suggestion is to get into 2nd group subjects of pcc once more , so that u can insure urself about future odd situations.....

And one more advantage is , if u study 2nd group of pcc - tax  , costing & fm , it & sm : out of these,

tax , costing & fm would help u much while studying ca final subjects - mafa , costing , dt and idt.

So, finally i opine that u should get into 2nd group subjects of pcc once more....

Thx Sabareesh..i hve completed my articleship..once i clear this i can start preparing for final..planning to write in may 2010..its gonna b difficult to manage for nov attempt...n i jst gt 1 query do u suggest me to go for coachings or self study..???

As u said u have completed ur articleship , so naturally if u clear , u r eligible for the immediate following final attempt.  That means that u have only very less time period. The thing is that , if u wanna go for self-study , understanding the topics , then getting grip over it takes a lot of time.... 

And when it comes to certain subjects such as idt , law etc. , interpretation makes a lot of difference.  So , i sincerely suggest u to go for Coaching classes instead of self-study considering the short span of time available to you.
