Heavy training expenditure, capital or revenue

Dear Experts,

One of our client is a doctor and he has incurred a heavy expenditure of Rs. 1.5 lacs on his training or education. He has incurred this for the first time.

Whether this expenditure is capital or revenue in nature? Also tell me the tax treatment of this expenditure.
