1. Revenue that you earn from such business is what you call Direct Income. 2. Any expense incurred to earn that Income which can be directly related to earning of such income is to be grouped under Direct Expense eg -Expenses Incurred on Advertisement in Print Media. 3. Now there are expenses say Bank Charges etc which have been incurred but cannot be directly related with earning of such revenue.
