But you know, how this Teddy Bear got its name,,,,,,,,,,

Once US President Mr. Theodore Roosevelt was on hunting spear, his comrades, captured a wild bear and tied it to a tree and called Mr. President to shoot, but Mr. President, objected to it, rather told his men to kill the bear, to free him from the misery, this became piece of joke for journalist, and various cartoons were published in news paper, seeing this one person (I forgot the name sorry, but it was from Novelty and co something similar naming company) made a stuffed toy and named it Teddy's Bear (with permission of Mr. President) and it became an instant hit, among children and adult alike,,,,,,,,

So the name came from US President Mr. Theodore Roosevelt, who's pet name was “Teddy”
