Hi,
Guidence notes are the part of our sylabus. These are guidelines issued by ICAI to deal with specific transactions in Audit.
For exam point of view it is like other chapters in book of Audit, so you can read that much which has been given in our main module covering whole sylabus.
You should use a standard recomended book for Audit which covers whole sylabus. For e.g.
I cleared my IPCC in last attempt. I got 73 marks in Audit. I read Padhuka throughly (as it covers all chapters also guidence notes) and very important ACCOUNTING STANDARDS which are neccessary to read for Accounting paper and for Audit equaly.
So, don't get bother refer a recomended book and read it throughly with AS and SA as much as possible.
Cover most important chapters first like, COMPANY AUDIT & SPECIAL AUDIT.
By going throughly in one standard book, you will cover guidence notes automatically.
Good Luck.
Regards,
Abhi
