when my supplier files his return quarterly is it possible that the detail of relevant month not reflected in the corresponding month 2B. we have availed the input credit of one party in the month of October but it reflects in 2B in November only.
but we have filed the return with our corresponding month bills only though more input credit is available. but it warns that variation should not be more than 10%
Please explain.

For better controlling and easy returns filing, please avail only that much of ITC which is showing in Form GSTR 2B.
I have also doubt in that case if I already availed itc of oct Months but portal was reflected that itc on nov month then what should I do... I can not take double ITC as per portal am I correct ?? or should I have take it as portal reflected in gstr2b

Yes this is possible. In such case you should either avail an additional 10% of ITC only or you can ask your supplier to upload invoices through IFF

Know More Form GSTR 2B about

GSTR-2B is an auto-drafted Input Tax Credit ( ITC ) statement, recently introduced by GSTN to simplify Input Tax Credit Claim for taxpayers. It is a fixed statement and will be generated on 12th of every month for every recipient on the basis of the information furnished by their suppliers in their respective GSTR-1, GSTR 5 and GSTR 6.

The 39th GST Council meeting was historical for taxpayers in a sense where simplification of return filing was discussed at length. The council had recommended significant enhancements which could ease the GST compliance for taxpayers. There have been many updates in the current GST system and some to be expected in the near future. One such enhancement that the Council recommended was the introduction of an auto-drafted input tax credit (ITC) statement which would aid in assisting/determining the input tax credit that is available for every taxpayer. As stated, it is not a return to be filed but an auto-generated statement.

Thanks all but still not cleared
