The GST Department released new GSTR Offline Utility updated version 2.1
GSTR offline Utility V 2.1
We can export B2B data in excel
We can Accept, Reject, Modify, Keep pending, Add invoices or Delete invoices in the Excel itself.

Offline Tool V2.1 with option to export data in Excel feature is now available on GST Portal for creation and submission of GSTR-2.

Dear Vinay Kumar,
Follow the below steps to complete GSTR 2 Filing
1. Download GSTR offline Tool Version 2.0 from GST Portal
2.Download JSON file by login to GST Portal - Return dashboard - Select month - GSTR 2 prepare offline - Download - Generate file
File will be available for download after 20 mins

1. Download GSTR offline Tool Version 2.0 from GST Portal
2.Download JSON file by login to GST Portal - Return dashboard - Select month - GSTR 2 prepare offline - Download - Generate file
File will be available for download after 20 mins
3. Install GSTR OFFLINE UTILITY and open downloaded JSON file and click on Export to Excel
4.Save exported excel from GSTR OFFLINE UTILITY
5. Open excel sheet & in action column select one of the option
ACCEPT REJECT MODIFY

6. Add missing invoices in GSTR 2 Template available in Offline Utility folder & import the same into GSTR Offline Utility
7. Once the above steps are completed click on generate file in GSTR OFFLINE UTILITY and a JSON file will be downloaded

8. Upload JSON file in GST PORTAL in GSTR 2 prepare offline

Hi Vinay Kumar,
Now Open GSTR OFFLINE UTILITY software and click on Import data select excel file and data in excel file will be imported to GSTR Offline Utility and click on generate file
Then JSON file will be generated
Login to GSTR portal go to GSTR 2 prepare offline and upload JSON file in portal
