Quick Summary
This discussion addresses whether input tax credit (ITC) can be claimed for the 2020-21 financial year if the corresponding GSTR-1 return was not filed. The core issue is that GSTR-1 is filed by the supplier, and if it's not filed, the buyer typically cannot claim ITC due to Rule 36(4). The user is asking about claiming ITC in the current GSTR-3B for a previous year's transactions that appeared in their GSTR-2A.

Gstr1 is filed by the supplier. If not filed, the buyer can't claim ITC because of rule 36(4).

Not sure whether this reply is apt because your query is not clear to me.

M talking about buyer gstr 1 actually it's last date so we didn't file gstr 1 yet but file 3b for claim itc for last year which shown in 2A of 20-21
