Gstr 1 for 2017-18 & 2018-19

I have pending GSTR 1 returns to be filed for the years 2017-18 and 2018-19.

since today is the last date and i am lack of proper information i cannot file returns for those periods

what will be the consequences for this??

is it ok if i file in the next month??

do we get any interest and late fee

what about the input credit for buyer?

There is late fee applicable on gstr 1 as well.... but till date it is not being levied...... don't know about future.... so just file your gstr 1 as soon as possible.............

File gstr 1 as soon as possible.. before PORTAL start calculating lagefee for gstr 1

It's strange that that the department has not cancelled your registration, so file your return as soon as possible , better if you file before 31/3/19

pankaj sir whether registration can be cancelled in the above situation???..... even if he have filed all the 3b's till date?.....

Yes dear Shailendra

As per Section 29 CGST Act cancellation is done IF

(b) a person paying tax under section 10 has not furnished returns for three
consecutive tax periods; (Qtly)
(c) any registered person, other than a person specified in clause (b), has not
furnished returns for a continuous period of six months;(Monthly)
