GSTP Certificate

GST Practitioner (GSTP) is a person approved by Central and state governments who provide services to other taxpayers through online mode. A GSTP must be registered on GST portal in Form PCT01 and obtain Enrolment certificate in Form PCT02.He must be qualified B. Com/ M.Com/MBA/LL. B from the recognised University in India.

First part of question is that "Is GSTP Certificate mandatory for filing GST Return" not answering.

For filling GST return, there is no requirement to hold GSTP certificate. If you have knowledge about about GST and Gst return, you can proceed

To file returns in GST , it's not necessary to obtain GSTP Certificate., the accountant or person who has knowledge can file Return.
