Just by looking at the GSTIN can one identify if the person is a normal taxpayer or composite taxpayer?? I mean is there any way just by looking at the GSTIN to do so, without searching on GST portal under "Search Taxpayer" with the GSTIN.

You can use GSTIN CheckSUM Excel Utility
