Is there any time limit of surrender gst registration after closurer of a partnership firm

There is no reason to wait for cancellations. If the business is closed then cancellation of registration should also be initiated. However there is no time limit for surrender of gst

There is no time limit, Registered person can apply for cancellation any time but before cancellation tax liability should nil...

There is no time limit , but once the business is closed the GSTN must be surrender

No Mukesh Sir. There is no time limit regarding cancellation of GST Registration after the closure of the business. But it would be better to surrender your GST Registration as soon as possible since even after closure of business you have to file NIL GSTR-3B until application for cancellation of GST Registration ( FORM GST REG-16 ) is filed. So why should you take unnecessary compliance burden ??? Proceed to cancel your GST Registration once the Partnership Firm is closed.

NOTE : Filing Returns under the GST Regime is Mandatory.

There is no time limit to surrender GST registration. Only thing is if you do not surrender the registration then you will have to file Nil returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-9) till the time you do not go ahead for cancellation
