We r registered GST on july monyh itself but we are not filed the retuns and tax also not paid for past six months. kindly suggest how much penalities will come for late return

As per my knowledge the late fees for July, August and September are waived off
hence late fee for October, November and December will be liable to be paid
calculation as on 20th Jan,2018

Dept will send you Notice in Form GST 3A if you have not filed returns.
First of all please file gstr 3b for the month of July to Sept as late fees for this period is waived. From october onwards fees for late filling of NIL return is 20 per day and 50 per day in other case. ( maximum fees for a return is 10000). Along with late fees, interest on tax has to be paid @ 18 % (If tax is payable ).
And in gstr 1 cases late fee will depends on filling periodicity of return

sir is it possible to cancel the gst registration by the authority
yes you can cancle your registration but till cancle date you have to file your return and pay laibilities
