gst return
if debit note raised to the customer in month of July , but he rec'd the invoice copy in August, till the time he rec'd the invoice his gst for the July all done, now party is telling to change the debit note , in current date, but we have paid the gst for that Amt in July only , now what to do???

I think there will be issue a credit note to the customer. and if he asked for coorection you have an option to change it. Because at last when we filled all three return like 3b, Gstr1, gstr2, there will be auto caculated 3a will be generated. in that time if there will raise any tax liability then we have to pay with interest and if input raise it will automatically add to the previous input....I think it will help you

not as per bill date it is as per date on which u
received the goods
so debit note shoul be issued after the date u received the goods
with proper reason
