Gst renting if immovable property

If a person called "X" lets out his commercial property for business purposes to " Y "then should X be paying tax on HP rental income under income tax act and is he also supposed to pay GST( RENTING OF IMMOVABLE PROPERTY) Kindly clarify.

Thanks sir. Is it not that government is collecting tax on the same property twice. Once under income tax and next time under GST?
The two Tax that you are talking about is totally different...one is income Tax which is based on your income..and another is GST which is based on supply of service and goods...you cannot mixed Direct and Indirect Tax....
