Quick Summary
For businesses in the service sector, the general turnover limit for GST registration is £20 lakhs. This exemption applies even for inter-state supplies of services, as per notification 10/2017. However, mandatory registration is required if you are paying tax under the Reverse Charge Mechanism (RCM), regardless of your turnover, as stipulated by Section 24 of the CGST Act 2017. It's important to note that Section 24 supersedes Section 22, meaning any condition met under Section 24 necessitates registration.

For  supply of  service  turnover  limit is  20 Lacs  ,  even  if he is making  Inter-state supply of service  same  was exempted  up to 20 Lacs vide notification 10/2017 dated 13/10/2017 . ( check any amendments )  and confirm .

If you are paying  tax under RCM  then compulsory registration  as per section 24(iii) of the CGST act 2017,irrespective  of the turnover .

As per Section 22 it's 22 lac per annum.
but As Section 24 superseded the Section 22, so if you satisfied any condition prescribed in section 24 , then need to obtain mandatory Registration
