Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies when a Private Ltd company requires GST registration. Generally, intrastate businesses can operate without GST registration if their turnover is below the specified threshold. However, mandatory GST registration applies to all businesses involved in interstate supply of goods, regardless of turnover, as per the CGST Act.

Are you Supplying Goods ? or providing Services?.
