Dear experts,

We have opened a branch office recently in Bangalore and have to regsister a GST number in a new state Karnataka. Our company is currently operational and existing GST registration is based out of Mumbai Maharashtra.
After filing the registration documents the GST state department has issued clarification asking for local address proof of authorised signatory. As per our company , authorised signatories are the directors of the company and they are based in Mumbai only, they don't have local address residence for Bangalore Karnataka.
As per GST, is it required to have authorised signatory in a local address itself ?
We have provided local address proof of rental place - the rental agreement + NOC

How can this be clarified to the authorities?
Kindly suggest, thank you.

Tenancy agreement and monthly rental payment advice copy can submit for local address proof. However, the mode of payments it has been done by bank transfer according to the Tenancy agreement.
