can i take gst registration on residential property because recently i applied for gst he told i cant have registration on residential property but i have search in google its clearly written there is no restriction on gst registration on residential property .
i want the section and notification no. so i can show them that it is allowed

Yes, you can. There is no barring for propery type for availing new registration. Though you have to provide relevant documents regarding ownership or physical possession of it i.e. Registry, Rent Deed etc.

Can be obtained by proofing ownership / rented premises documents .
I have all the ownership document still he rejected because of residential property please give me section or act number

Have registered gst on residential property sir. i know it's possible but don't know under which clause it is provided.
normally for private limited company, the checks are more. so the department asks for noc from the owner of the property too. hence the question
