Dear All,

If I am purchasing capsicum & Mango direct from farmers and supplying from Bangalore to other state of India and my total turnover is exceeding Rs 40lac per year.

Is GST registration is mandatory for me??

As per my knowledge both products is exempted and Nil rated in GST.

Please response as earliest. Thank you.

yes you need to file returns as your turnover crossing basic limit and as if you are saying they are exempted and nil rated there are specific column in Gst return if which they ask sale of supplies related to Nill rated and exempted where you can disclose sales but not need pay any tax as your sales are exempted and nil rated

No. registration is not mandatory.
Refer section 23 of CGST act.

When total turnover exceeds Rs 40 lac registration is mandatory. Total turnover includes ( taxable supplies, exempt supplies, nil rated supplies, inter state supplies etc) But if your turnover includes solely exempt supplies and such exempt supplies turnover exceeds Rs 40 lac still NO REGISTRATION is required.
