How can I get refund or credit, if I deposited GST to govt. from my pocket but later on the transaction with the party cancelled.

if you paid against output liability, then you have to issue credit note u/s 34., said paid Gst will reflect under electronics credit ledger after filing of GST 3B.
you cannot claim refund only you can adjust the same
good clarification and information
