My Name is vishal kapuriya. I am from ahmedabad i have one query about Textile Jobwork.
My client provide jobwork service of Manufacturing Jeans and cotton pants on material provided by Textile Manufacturer.
Q.1 Which is SAC Code is applicable for above service (1) 998821 Textile Manufacturing Service (2) 998822 wearing apperial Manufacturing Service.
Q.2 What is GST rate applicable and from Which date or Month.
I am confused about this because there is two time rate of Textile Job Work Change 18% to 5% one in August 2017 And Second in January 2018 on Tailoring Service From 18% to 5%
Above mentioned service is textile jobwork or Tailoring Service.

Hi Vishal,
As far as your first question is concerned you are only required to use 4 digit of HSN, doing so will remove ambiguity and cover both the situations.
Tax rate applicability depends on point of taxation rule which requires more information than what you have provided, however generally stating if any transaction is entered after rate change new rate is applicable.
Note : make sure you file ITC 04 on time

01. Cutting
02. making kaja and button
03. Zipper fixing
after all that jeans pant will outcome.
