Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies the Goods and Services Tax (GST) rates applicable to professional printed textbooks and e-books. While initially there was some confusion, it was established that professional printed books are generally nil-rated. However, specific types of printed books can be taxed at 12%. For e-books, the standard rate is 18%, but this reduces to 5% if a print version of the same e-book is also available.

It's 12% . however gst rate for e-books is 18% but if that e-books also has print version available then gst on e-books will be 5%
