Gst rate on power
Friends.. Before GST there is no tax on power production and sale. Also Service inputs also reversed as per export, import basis. As per GST same picture will continue or any changes.

The Power Section is Exempted from Tax under the New GST Law.
Can you tell me the HSN Code for generation and distribution of power.
Old SAC code: 00440610 for Services provided by Electricity Exchange
New Proposed SAC code for GST : 998631 For Support services to electricity transmission and distribution

We are in the business of Generation of wind power and selling to state discoms.
for that which HSN code i have to use for GST Registartion and as well for invoice.
