Gst penalty

Hie,

My maternal uncle deals with electronic good. He has not filled GST return from July 2017 To August 2018. neighter GSTR-1 nor GSTR 3B. My question is for filling GSTR -3B how much interest he has to pay and for GSTR-1 how much penalty he has to pay or he has to pay no penalty if he files before 31st Oct 2018

GSTR 3B :

For "NIL RETURN" Late Filing Fee - Rs. 20/day (CGST Rs 10 & SGST Rs 10) upto 10k (CGST Rs 5k & SGST Rs 5k).

Other than Nil Return Late Filing Fee - Rs. 50/day (CGST Rs 25 & SGST Rs 25) upto 10k (CGST Rs 5k & SGST Rs 5k).

Note : No Late Fee From July-17 to September-17.

GSTR 1 :

No Late Fee for GSTR 1 return as per Latest Notification...

Interest :

Any Payable Liability then Interest levied @ 18% p.a.
