The Indian subsidiary is a separate legal entity and is generally liable to register for and pay GST on webinar revenue generated from Indian participants if its turnover exceeds the registration threshold. These transactions are considered domestic supplies and are subject to standard GST rates (typically 18%). It is advisable to maintain distinct accounting for these services to ensure proper tax compliance and accurate input tax credit claims.
