I m trading in two wheelers.

I purchase vehicle from authorised dealer and sell it to end consumer.

I rec'd 52000 cheque from customer in my name.

and paid the dealer RS.50000 (inclusive GST) from my account. and rec'd bill in the name of customer. for each. 50000
bcz RTO requires authorised dealer s invoice for registration of vehicle.

my revenue is only 2000 which is less than 20 lacks in a year.

m I require to pay GST...?

if yes.. on what amount.

pls reply with relevant provisions.

The purchased vehicles invoices in your company name and you ll sell it. Then whole transactions is under your firm. It's not commission business. It's a trading business...
So, Whole amount is your transaction value...

Then the sale value is Rs. 52k * no. of bikes. And your turn over is above 20lakhs...

Registration required.
thanx..
actually the problem is authorised dealer cannot appoint me as sub-agent as per their dealership agreement with manufacturer.

so if I take cheque from customer in the name of dealer then he can't pay me commission.
and customer may go directly to dealer to buy..

and also customer is not ready to give two separate cheques of 50k and 2k..

my actual revenue is only 2k which is less than 20 lacs..

so how can I do the transaction...?
Are you have GSTIN....? Is dealer invoiced to you or not...?
No I don't have GSTIN and dealer invoice is in the name of customer.
As RTO requires Dealers invoice in the name of customer for registration of vehicle.
