An assessee having GST number invoice bill on transportation charges of Rs.4000/-. This transportation bill under GST or exempted from GST. Please advise.

If there is no consignment note then it is exempt
It appears to be GTA (subject to issuance of consignment note) - GST to be be paid under reverse charge @ 5%.
It is GTA or not?
