if ur including transportation amount on sale then ur indirectly paying gst on transportation amount.
gst on transportation if supplied to unregistered person is forward charge and liability is on supplier and rate 5% if no input taken on services and goods used for supplying such transportation services
my question is if we included transportation charges in sale invoice then GST how to calculate eg.goods value rs.1000 , transportation 100 then on which amount GST to be calculated
Pay gst on transportation amount @ 5% and on invoice value @ the applicable rate
whether we should collect this 5percent from customer or we should pay
RCM is applicable for GST on transportation .

look if u add transportation in invoice, then liability to pay gst will be on u under reverse charge mechanism. If your customer pay transportation on to pay basis, then the liability will be on your customer.

If I don't include transportation charges in tax invoice but I pay transportation expenses then its treatment
as you are the recipient of transportation services, liability of gst will be on you as per reverse charge. If the transportation is done on to pay basis, then the person who pay the amount will be liable to pay GST under reverse charge.
Ok as i pay transportation charges so i have to pay gst under reverse charge..
but my transportation charges not exceed 5000 in a day it means not covered under reverse charge
Sir we are service provider and we bear all transpotation cost. Our transporter charged freight on bill basis every month but they said we will not charged any gst amount in bill. so it is our liablity to pay gst .Is it 5% and we can claim ITC beacuse we will paid GST on these bills.
Rs. 5000 limit is applicable only in case if you purchase anything from unregistered dealer and there you will get ITC. it is not applicable in the case of transportation
