Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies the Goods and Services Tax (GST) liability for transport agents. It explains that while the freight charges collected on behalf of the truck owner are generally exempt from GST, the agent's commission is taxable. The agent should raise a bill for their commission, and the truck owner will bill the company for the transportation services.

As it's not cover under the pure services.

So as per Section 15 of CGST Act , Agent need to raise bill for transportation Services to Company & in term of Notification 12/2017CT (r) , transportation of goods by road is Exempted.

The Truck owner will raise bill to you.

Yes , the commission charge is taxable , so GST Applicable on the commission reced.
Thank u sir

You are always welcome
