Gst on services used in apartments

Hi,

As everyone of you are aware that from 1st June 2017, GST is going to be implement throughout India.

I am from Bangalore.

In our Apartment, we are using services from differen Vendors like Security, House Keeping, STP&Pool Vendors, Generator& Intercom Services and many more.

Recently one of the vendor informed that the Service Tax is going to be increaed to 18%.

How can we ensure that the vendor is in 12% or 18% slab?

Current Service Tax slab is 14% + 0.5%(Swatch bharat) + 0.5%(Krishi Kalyan) = 15%

What are the services will be in 12% & 18%.

Estimation of your vendor is almost correct, but wait for 10 more days for final list. Most of the services will be in 18% bracket.

Mostly the government will issue the GST tax rates on 18th or 19th may... Most of the services will be under 18%slab except few services like transportation etc..which which will be under 12%slab..
