Quick Summary
This discussion addresses whether LIC agents earning substantial commission (around £28L annually) need to register for GST. While one opinion suggests registration is only mandatory above a £40L turnover threshold, another highlights the potential applicability of the Reverse Charge Mechanism (RCM) under specific GST notifications, suggesting the company might be liable rather than the agent.
