GST on Legal service

Is ITC available on service received by a business entity from a firm of legal services (advocates) which is unregistered? If yes then what will GST rate?

Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies the Goods and Services Tax (GST) implications for legal services. It explains that if you receive legal services from an unregistered firm, you, as the recipient, are liable to pay GST under the Reverse Charge Mechanism (RCM) at an 18% rate. Crucially, you can then claim Input Tax Credit (ITC) for this GST paid.

You have to Pay GST under RCM @ 18% on legal services received by you as recipient of services and than you can take ITC of same.....
Need to pay under RCM
