Can I take input gst of imported goods

Yes Offcourse you can avail ITC on goods imported
u can eligible credit igst only.

Prior to GST system the imported goods were charged with many types of central government duties/taxes e.g Basic Customs duty(BCD) + Countervailing Duty(CVD) + Additional Countervailing duty (ACVD) + Anti dumping duty and other types of cess , among these all type of duties only CVD/ACVD were availble to  importers or manufacturers as input credit in form of MODVAT (...but to avail MODVAT etc you needs to be central excise registered bussiness organisation ) .... but post GST the CVD/ACVD were both replaced by IGST , though the BCD and Anti dumping duty still prevails... so now you can avail the IGST which you paid on imports but Basic Customs Duty is not allowable as input credit...
