Forgive me in advance if this is the wrong platform for this query.
I am an aquaculture farmer.
Our business is shrimp farming. As the sale of our shrimps is exempt from gst which is 0%. Do we have to register for GST.
The feed, shrimp seed we buy has 0% GST.
Only few things like aerators and minerals have GST which we pay but as we use them for our end use, is it necessary for me to register under GST.
I read somewhere that the products that not exempt from GST it is not required to register even if the revenue limit exceeds that is prescribed.

yes no need to register if u r products r exemt from gst
but in cartain cases u need to register like expoet , resverve charge , refund claim ect
I won't be able claim any refund as the product I sell which is shrimp has 0% gst.... I only will have too pay gst for buying and not selling. That too for very few products like machinery... Thanks for your kind reply amit
But if u sells exclusively exempted product then no gst registration . But along with exempted products, if u also sell some products on which gst is applicable then u will have to register ur self providing ur aggregate supply exceed rs 20 lakh.
If I have dispatch shirmp feed from one state to another state then i will generate Ewaybill or not.
